World of WarCraft: The Burning Crusade
People said that there's no bigger PC game than the World of WarCraft (WoW). It's also the game that's responsible for uncountable lost jobs, broken marriages, and failed classes. This online game has about 8 million subscribers worldwide, and my dearest fiance is one of them.
He spends a tremendous amount of time playing that game. He's addicted to it just like his addiction to cigarettes. Although he manages to balance it up with his school and work, it still pisses me off sometimes.
I watched him playing once, and I have to admit that I would be addicted to it too. I love playing video games and WoW would be one of my favorite games, but PC game is not my thing. I prefer playing games in Sony Playstation or Nintendo Gamecube.
Anyway, Cippi was so excited when he heard that the expansion pack of WoW is coming out in Jan 16th, 2007 at 12.01 AM. He reserved a copy, finally picked it up yesterday afternoon, and he played all night long last night.
So what's the big deal about WoW anyway?
I just don't get it. First of all, there's no end to this game. Seriously, you won't see the "The End" sign and the credit rolls. Something always comes up and there you go again, battling in some kind of dungeon.
Second, it's just going to piss off the people around you who don't play the game and who don't get the reason why you should play it all day and night long! I'm one of them!
Geez, I'm running out of words. Those people at Blizzard shouldn't create this game in the first place!
